CUF’s mission is to give people opportunities that they would not usually have to help themselves, and in that way contribute to alleviating a cycle of poverty.

In order to achieve this mission, in the five year period 2010 to 2015, we will be focusing on the following practical goals:


1. Investing in Education and Leaders
To provide individuals with opportunities to start or continue education.


2. Support Existing, Local Extra Curricula and Skill Projects
To provide funding to existing locally based projects,
providing people with the opportunity to engage in extra-curricula activities or skills training.

3. Provide Equipment and Tools to Take New Opportunities Forward
To provide the equipment and tools necessary for people to access new opportunities.
To provide physical capital to support projects.


4. Facilitate Funding of Specific Projects
To use CUF’s administrative and financial infrastructure to channel donations from individuals and organizations for specific projects.
